The Montserrado YMCA is proud to announce the launch of its Y-Academy Basketball Program — a dynamic initiative designed to build skills, character, and leadership among young boys and girls between the ages of 6 to 15.

Starting November 1, 2025, the Y-Academy will run every Saturday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Montserrado YMCA Branch. This program offers an exciting and engaging environment where children can learn the fundamentals of basketball while developing teamwork, discipline, and self-confidence.

🎯 What Makes Y-Academy Special

• Comprehensive Basketball Training: Participants will learn dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, and team play from experienced coaches.

• Character & Leadership Development: Through the YMCA’s values-driven approach, the program emphasizes respect, responsibility, honesty, and caring — both on and off the court.

• Inclusive Environment: Open to both boys and girls, ensuring equal access and opportunity for all youth participants.

• Registration Fee: $20 per month

• Training Schedule: Saturdays, 1:00 – 5:00 PM
