The Montserrado County YMCA Secretariat is similar to the National Secretariat of the Liberia YMCA. This body is responsibilities include not limed to transmit and interpret the policies of the Local board, ensure the day to day operations of the branch, monitor and supervise successful implementations of all programs, projects and activities, develop meaningful capacity building initiative for the growth and development of human resource in the branch, among others.

It is currently headed by Mr. T. Martin Allen, a veteran and professional in youth development in the country.

The Secretariat meets twice a month to review and discuss ongoing programs/activities, mitigate challenges and chart a new course for the branch. All sections/departments are mandatory to participate and be present at these meetings.  Each section head is allowed to present his/her progress updates after which their reports are quizzed and action plan developed for implementation.

• MEET OUR SECTIONAL HEADS

The Montserrado County YMCA currently has the following section/department which include:

 Youth Department

Mr. Stoneciepher B. Mulbah is the Youth & Program Officer for the Branch. He last served the Sports Department for over a decade. He is a well seasoned sports practitioner with vast worth of experience in the sporting community in the country.

• Sports Department

The Sports Department is now headed by Mr. Claudius Thompson, aka: “Coach Claudius”.  He is a veteran sports administrator with a worth of experience in the sporting world.

• Membership

Mr. Tidi K. Constance, Jr. Heads the Membership Desk of the Branch. He is the current Youth Council President. His innovation is making tremendous improvement with the membership.

• CPS DESK

We are proud to have a desk of the Civil Peace Service (CPS) in the branch. Mr. Harris C. Fayiah, II, Former President of the Youth Council is heading the Montserrado County YMCA CPS Desk.
